My Approach

Life's journey can be demanding, we experience moments of disconnection and a sense of being trapped, making it seem challenging to find a way forward. Starting therapy is often a tough task, yet whether you're grappling with issues ranging from depression to anxiety, I urge you to take the initial steps toward transformation and self-discovery. My goal is to create a supportive place for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and reactions.

Setting Goals for Achieving Positive Change

Together, we collaboratively set goals aimed at achieving positive change. My approach, as the name of my practice suggests, is collaborative—I don't see myself as a "life expert" who can tell you how to live your life by asking the right questions. Your life is yours to live, not mine. I do not provide direct advice or tell clients what to do. For more practical issues, my approach is collaborative and exploratory; I help you understand yourself better so you can make decisions that align with your values and life circumstances. If you would prefer someone who will provide step-by-step instructions on how to live your life, while I completely understand your preference, another therapist may be a better match for you. I aim to respect your agency and autonomy as an individual as much as possible.
